If possible, place the speakers so that sound is «diffused» lengthwise within •
the room.
Avoid placing them in corners as this excites the room’s own resonance. Leave •
at least 40 cm between the wall and the speaker. Adjust the position of the
speakers in relation to the rear wall. Generally, a position close to the rear wall
improves the response in low frequencies (to the detriment of the image) and
inversely, a position far from the wall reproduces a wide and deep sound image.
Carry out several test positions to find the best room set up.

A typical home cinema installation includes:
Two main left and right speakers1.
